Meet the Staff
Dr. Hoefs
Dr. Hoefs is a native of Nebraska and has been in private practice for over 30 years, 20 of those years in Lincoln. In 1979, he earned his dental degree from University of Nebraska College of Dentistry. He has over 3,000 hours of Craniofacial Pain, TMD, dental sleep medicine, and orthodontic continuing education. He is Board Certified in the American Board of Craniofacial Pain.

Dawn
Originally from Fremont, Nebraska, Dawn is a dental assistant at Lincoln TMJ Therapy. She has been a dental assistant since 1988. As a TMD patient herself, Dawn has a special understanding of what our patients are experiencing. She began working with TMD patients in 1990, and continues to help educate patients and raise awareness of TMD.
At the office, Dawn works directly with the patient, doing diagnostic testing and x-rays. She has completed several hours of special training with TMD diagnostic equipment.
Stacy
Stacy is a TMD assistant at Lincoln TMJ Therapy. She has 15 years of dental and orthodontic assisting experience. Stacy's outgoing personality and excellent dental skills have made her an excellent asset to Lincoln TMJ Therapy. Stacy assists with orthodontic procedures as well as diagnostic testing, x-rays, and patient checks.
Stacy is the mother of 4 children, and enjoys spending time with her family.
Stacia
Stacia is orginally from Elgin, Nebraska. She has been in the dental field since 1993. Stacia has a lot of experience working with children and adults, she enjoys putting people at ease during their dental procedures. She has worked with Dr Hoefs since 2009.
Stacia has a 7 year old son. She enjoys spending all of her free time with him, her boyfriend Jason and her family and friends.
Clarissa
Originally from Orleans, NE, Clarissa has been involved in various aspects of the medical field for over 10 years. She began working with Lincoln TMJ Therapy in 2009. As the Treatment Coordinator, she handles all insurance billing and scheduling. Feel free to ask Clarissa any questions about your treatment.
In her spare time, Clarissa and her husband enjoy camping, outdoor activities, NASCAR, and working on their home. They also love spending time with their family, and spoiling their nieces and nephews.
Yelena
Yelena is orginally from the Ukraine and has lived in Lincoln since 1995. She has worked for Dr Hoefs since 2004. Originally she was a dental assitant and then moved onto ortho and TMJ assisting. Currently she is the lab technician for Craniofacial Pain Center and is enjoying the challenges and flexibility this position allows since she has two young boys at home that keep her very busy!
In her spare time Yelena and her husband enjoy spending as much time with their families and traveling as much as they can.
